Finalist's Award Winner
Russian pianist Alexander Yakovlev has appeared in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Berlin, Dortmund, Salzburg, Vienna, Sofia, Milan, Madrid, Valencia, Seviglia and Barcelona.
After graduating from the Conservatory of Rostov-on-Don, he went on to further study with Professor Osipenko. In addition, he has studied with Professor Liubimov at Salzburg's Mozarteum and later with Professor Devoyon at the University of Berlin.
Alexander enjoys the reputation of winning the title of 1st Prize Winner of more than 50 international competitions. He has already been invited as the youngest Jury member of the Cantu International Piano Competition and the Mendelssohn International Piano Competition..
