Finalist's Award Winner
Chinese born pianist Chao Wang has performed in China, Japan, Germany, France and Italy as soloist with orchestras as well as in recitals.
Chao has been invited to participate in prestigious festivals such as Beethoven Festival in Bonn and Kawai Festival in Munich.
He has already won numerous prizes in competitions such as Epinal, Takamitsu and Geneva International Music Competitions.
He has studied under the guidance of Professors Klaus Bäßler, Michael Endres e con Fabio Bidini.
In 2010, he has been invited to study with Prof. Klaus Hellwig at the University of Berlin where he currently attends.
The screened Jury enjoyed Chao's brilliant, impeccable interpretation of Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas.
Chao's overall performance showing refined phrasing and cantabile demonstrated that he is a talent to watch.
